Maria Rundell's immensely popular domestic cookery book, first published in 1805. This was a very popular work, aimed towards middle class housewives. The work sold half a million copies within Rundell's lifetime.
 
Bound in the original publisher's orange pictorial cloth with black lettering to all sides. In very good condition with light surface soiling and wear to the extremities. Contents age toned with some occasional brown spots - overall clean throughout.
