This is a very attractive edition of Scott's poetical works. Bound in the original publisher's green cloth, decorated in gilt to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good overall condition with some wear to the extremities. Green endpapers with the remnants of a glue mark to the front pastedown (this is showing as a large black mark on the photos but it is actually just a glue stain). The binding is a little tender with a crack to the hinge as shown in the photographs. The contents are lightly age toned but otherwise clean and bright. All edges gilt.
