Bound in the original publisher's red decorative cloth featuring gilt lettering to the front cover and black lettering to the spine. The boards are in good overall condition. There is some soiling to the surface of the boards, and some rubbing and bumping to the extremities, including a tear to the upper spine. The contents are age toned with an ink and pencil inscription to the front free endpaper, a few handling marks and some browning to the preliminary and endpapers. Otherwise clean throughout. Small ink stain to the lower edge.
