Bound in dark green cloth with black lettering over a gilt title band to the front cover and gilt decoration to both the front cover and spine. The bevelled boards are in very good condition with some light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Brown endpapers with some minor marks. There are two seperate ink inscriptions to the front free endpaper dated 1897 and 1928. Frontispiece with tissue guard. Each page featured a red lined border and the contents are lightly age toned but otherwise clean throughout. All edges gilt.
