In the original publisher's brown pictorial cloth with gilt lettering to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition with some light wear to the extremities. Green endpapers which have some browning. The contents are also very good - lightly age toned but otherwise clean and bright throughout. There is an ink inscription to the verso of the front free endpaper. Beautifully illustrated in colour.
