This stunning edition of Cranford never fails to make me swoon - I simply love the wraparound pictorial cover! Although I've seen this book a couple of times before, it's actually quite uncommon in this condition, which is vibrant and bright. There is minor wear to the extremities, but it is otherwise very good indeed. Likewise, the contents are lightly age toned but clean and bright throughout. No inscriptions. It features eight full page colour plates including the frontispiece, which is protected by an untarnished tissue guard. The only 'fault' that I can note is that two of the illustrations are loose, but sitting neatly in place, and the second to last page has two finger prints at the top edge. Neither of them deter from this truly beautiful book.
