This is a beautiful book of fairy tales and a somewhat scarce find. Bound in paper covered pictorial boards with a pink cloth spine, it is in good condition overall. The boards have some signs of wear, with rubbing to the edges and some scuffing to the paper covering. The spine has some minor fading to the black lettering and floral but it still remains clearly visible. On first opening the book there is a superficial crack to the hinge which reveals some webbing - the binding is however holding firm. The endpapers are a little discoloured and appear to have the remnants of an ownership sticker. The 'this book belongs to' page has not been written on, but the reverse has nine stamps? attached to it - I have no idea as to the relevance of this stamps. See image provided. Beyond this the contents are age toned with some light intermittent foxing and a few fingerprints/handling marks. It features colour plates and in text illustrations.
