This is a stunning and complete set of The Life and Works of the Bronte Sisters. Half-bound in tan leather with tan cloth boards. All volumes are in very good condition - there is some scuffing to the leather spines, some rubbing to the head and tail of the spines and rubbing/bumping to the edges and corners. The cloth boards are lovely and clean - volume VII has a scratch to the front cloth and volume I has a small white mark. Each volume has blue marbled endpapers which have some minor browning but are free from inscriptions. The contents are lightly age toned with some light intermittent spotting, but otherwise clean and bright throughout. There is a frontispiece with tissue-guard to each volume. Top edge gilt.
It is always a delight to find a lovely set of works by the Bronte sisters, but even more so when they are in such good condition!
