Bound in dark green cloth with with an attractive pictorial design and gold lettering to the front cover, and gold lettering to the spine. The boards are in very good condition, with only minor rubbing and bumping to the extremities. There is an ownership label to the front free endpaper which is covering up a previous inscription. There are a couple of marks/minor tears to the upper page edges in the contents section, and small pencil ticks alongside each chapter suggesting the previous owner marked off each chapter as it was read. The contents are otherwise clean and bright throughout with only the odd spot of foxing.
