Beige cloth featuring characters names to the front cover and title to the spine. The boards are in very good, clean condition with only light wear to the extremities. There is an ink inscription to the front free endpaper dated 1955. The contents are lightly age toned but otherwise clean and bright throughout. Featuring three beautiful full page colour plates plus in text illustrations in black and white. Collated complete. 
 
Complete with the original, unclipped dust jacket in a protective wrap. The jacket has some light soiling, with light wear to the edges, but is in very good condition overall. 
 
A very good example of this lovely edition.
