The boards are in good condition with some rubbing to the corners and to the head and tail of the spine. There is also a small mark to the front cover and a large stain to the rear cover - this has gone through to the rear endpaper but the stain is only just visible - see images provided. The front board has a very slight upward bow and forward lean, but it is barely noticeable. The endpapers are beautifully illustrated in colour and free from inscriptions. The contents are lightly age toned with a few occasional, light spots of foxing - otherwise clean and bright throughout. Featuring lovely illustrations in colour.

Complete with the original, unclipped dust-jacket, which is quite worn around the edges and has a small amount of loss to the upper spine. It is also darkened on the spine and has areas of browning  on both the front and back covers.
