Title: The Pop-Up Book of Gnomes. Adapted from Gnomes by Rien Poortvliet and Wil Huygen.
Designer: John Strejan
Paper Engineer: Tor Lokvig
Handwriting: Diane Kosowski
Publisher: Kestrel Books: London.
Published Date: 1979
Condition: Very good.
Bound in the publisher's original pictorial boards, with an oval cut out to the front board. In very good condition with light shelf wear only. The contents are in very good condition: each page has a combination of pop-ups and moveable parts, all of which work as they should. One handle has a small tear [pictured] but this does not affect anything. The pages have some light foxing but they are otherwise clean. The text describes the daily life of a gnome as he works, plays, and interacts with animals. A very good example of this cleverly constructed book.
