This is a beautiful and rare edition of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. It is a first edition in this format, published in 1914. Bound in beige cloth with a pictorial paste on to the front cover and dark green lettering to the front cover and spine. The boards are in extremely good condition, with only minor wear to the extremities. The endpapers have a little browning but are otherwise clean and bright and feature a Christmas ribbon/bells design with the words 'God Bless Us. Everyone.' The contents are equally clean and bright with some minor foxing to the preliminary pages - otherwise clean throughout.

An exceptional example. Whilst later printings can be found, this 1914 edition is quite scarce.
