This is a beautifully illustrated festive poem by George Wither, not to be confused with A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens! Solidly bound in the original publisher's green cloth with white/red lettering to the front cover and gilt lettering to the spine. The boards have some minor fading around the edges and the spine and there is some light rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. Cracks to the hinge in places but the contents are firmly bound. Pictorial endpapers which are free from inscriptions. The contents are clean and bright throughout. A truly delightful book!
