This is a beautiful collection of sixty-four stories for children of all ages, illustrated in both black and white and colour. 
 
Bound in green cloth with gilt decoration and lettering to the front cover and spine. In very good condition with only light wear to the extremities. Ink inscription to the front free endpaper. Contents lightly age toned but otherwise clean and bright throughout.
 Complete with the original illustrated dust jacket which has some wear to the edges, minor loss to the head of the spine and surface soiling, but is in good overall condition.
