This is a stunning edition of Adam Bede by George Eliot. Bound in the original publisher's red cloth with a floral design and red lettering over a gilt title band to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition with some bumping to the corners and general shelf wear. Floral endpapers which have some browning and also a prize sticker dated 1902. The contents are lightly age toned with some light occasional foxing.

An extremely good example of this lovely edition.
