This is a beautiful copy of the Blackie's Children's Annual, published c.1915. It is firmly bound in pictorial, paper covered boards with a pale blue cloth spine. The front cover depicts a festive scene, which I would say is 'of its time.' The outer boards edge of the front board has significant scuffing and the image has worn away. There is also scuffing, light soiling and general wear to the rear board and to the edges, corners and head and tail of the spine.
 
Internally the book is very good. It has pictorial endpapers which are clean and bright. The contents are lightly age toned with a few handling marks and spots of foxing. The colour illustrations are so vibrant and bright they are quite striking, and the in-text illustrations in black and white are also wonderful.
