This book is in beautiful condition. Large format, bound in blue cloth with a pictorial paste on to the front cover depicting a princess and knight on horseback heading towards a fairy-tale castle. There is some light shelf-wear to the extremities but otherwise the boards are in very good condition. Gilt lettering to the spine which is vibrant and clear. Decorative endpapers with an ownership label to the front pastedown and an ink inscription to the rear of the front free endpaper dated Christmas 1928. The contents are lightly age toned but otherwise clean and bright throughout. Featuring numerous lovely colour illustrations. A gift-worthy item or one for the collector!
