The Works of Charles Dickens [15 of 17 volumes]

Title: The Oxford India Paper Dicken, Copyright Edition with Illustrations by Cruikshank, 'Phiz' etc. This set includes 15 or the 17 volumes originally published. 
Publisher: Chapman & Hall Limited; and Henry Frowde: London. 
Condition: Very Good. 
 
This is not the most attractive set but it is certainly great value for anyone wanting to read more Dickens! Firmly bound in lilac/purple cloth with gilt lettering to the spines. All books are in good condition. Each volume has fading/discolouration to the spine, shelf wear to the extremities and some bumping to the corners. Some volumes have a few marks or chips to the cloth or areas of fading, but nothing significant. The contents are lightly age toned but otherwise clean. Some foxing to the endpapers. 
 
** A Tale of Two Cities has a corner missing on one of the pages - I was going to remove this volume but decided to leave it in. 
**There is a crack to the front hinge of Barnaby Rudge
**Some pages have been carelessly cut, leaving excess paper.
