This delightful edition of Miss Bouverie by Mrs Molesworth is firmly bound in the original publisher's vibrant green pictorial cloth and in very good condition. The bevelled boards have some light surface soiling and light wear to the extremities, but that is all. There is a prize sticker to the front pastedown dated 1908. The contents are slightly age toned with some light intermittent foxing throughout - there are a few pages with heavier foxing as shown in the photographs. Spotting to page edges, also see photograph. Beautifully illustrated with eight line drawings by Lewis Baumer, an English artist who worked for the British magazine Punch for more than fifty years.
