Bound in a vibrant blue cloth with red lettering to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition with some rubbing and bumping to the corners and to the head and tail of the spine. The contents are very lightly age toned with an ink inscription to the front free endpaper - otherwise clean and bright. Frontispiece illustrated in colour plus three further illustrations - the frontispiece appears to have been glued in placed down one side causing a slight crinkling to the paper. The illustration to p.128 has a small tear to the margin. Each new story has an illustrated title page and there are several in text illustrations in black and white. Overall a beautiful edition of Grimm's Fairy Tales in good, clean condition.
