CLEARANCE PRICE The Novels of Walter Scott. Incomplete Set.

This listing is for a set of the works of Sir Walter Scott. Published by Robert Cadell: Edinburgh and Whittaker & Co: London from 1833-1834.
 
It is incomplete, but the volumes included are all in good, solid condition. Half bound in green leather with green boards. All volumes have rubbing and scuffing to the surfaces and some have superficial water damage which has significantly discoloured the boards. For full transparency I have included photos of the damage that I am referring to. There is also wear to the edges and to the head and tail of the spine and the title band to some volumes is peeling or worn. Despite the external wear the contents to all is good - age toned with some foxing. As you can see by the images provided, some volumes have heavy browning to the preliminary pages. All edges marbled. A very attractive set on the shelf but even as reading copies these are superb value. 11kg without packaging.
