This is a handwritten cookery book dated 1914 - 1915. It was written by a girl called Frieda Y Lindberg and I the cover would suggest it was written during her High School years. Although it is a little tatty externally and there is a crack to the upper front hinge, the book remains bound with no loose pages. It is very neatly written throughout and filled from cover to cover with recipes, including an index to the rear of the book. There are a couple of extra pieces that were in the book when I acquired it, including a letter to Frieda. I have left these in place as they belong together.  
 
This is a wonderful piece of social history and perfect for anyone interested in recipes over the years.
