Description:

This is a beautiful, vibrant and uncommon edition of fairy tales, edited by Harry Golding and featuring 48 coloured plates by Margaret Tarrant. Bound in blue cloth with a pictorial paste on in colour to the front board, and gilt lettering to both the front board and spine. The boards are in very good condition with some light rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. Endpapers illustrated in colour and free from inscriptions. The book is very slightly shaken with a superficial crack to the front and rear joint, but the contents are firmly bound. The contents are lightly age toned with some minor intermittent foxing, but they are otherwise clean and bright. A beautiful book featuring a number of classic fairy tales, including the following:
