This beautiful edition of Fairy Tales from Hans Christian Andersen is bound in the original publisher's beige pictorial cloth, with decoration to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition with some light surface soiling and light wear to the extremities. There is the hint of an inscription to the front pastedown but the contents are beautifully clean and bright throughout.  The illustrations are absolutely stunning, with numerous black and white illustrations both within the text and full page, and a full page colour frontispiece and colour title page.
