Red cloth boards with an attractive decorative in black to the front cover and gilt to the spine. The spine really is beautiful on this book. The boards are in very good condition with some light wear to the extremities and a lighter strip to the upper rear board. There is a prize sticker to the front pastedown which has been partially removed, and another sticker to the front free endpaper, as shown in the images provided. Frontispiece with tissue guard. Contents age toned with some minor spotting to the page edges and browning to the endpapers. All edges gilt. A very attractive copy.
