This is a beautiful and somewhat scarce first edition of Fulness of Joy by Frances Ridley Havergal, a collection of psalms and religious verses with each page beautifully illustrated in colour. Bound in orange/brown boards with a gilt title band and floral design to the front cover. The boards are in very good overall condition - there is some rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine, and some surface marks, as shown in the images. Lovely dark blue floral endpapers with a small nick to the paper on the front free endpaper, again shown in the images. The contents are moderately age toned with a few handling marks, but nothing significant. The pages are not numbered, and so the two pages with From Glory to Glory' and 'Advent Thoughts' have clearly had something sticky between them, which has removed a couple of small areas of paper. There are also cracks to the hinge in a few places, but the contents remain firmly bound. All edges gilt. 
 
Overall a truly beautiful book.
