This beautiful book is bound in the original publisher's brown decorative cloth featuring an Art Nouveau floral design to the front cover and gilt lettering to the spine. The colours remain vibrant and bright making it a particularly attractive and collectable example. The boards are in very good condition with some light wear to the extremities. There is an ownership sticker to the front pastedown dated 1901. The contents are lightly age toned with some heavier foxing to the preliminary pages which is lighter and intermittent elsewhere. The binding is firm and square.
