This is an uncommon edition of Grimm's Fairy Tales. Bound in the original publisher's beige Art Nouveau cloth binding. Externally this book is in very good condition - there is some light wear to the extremities and the original design to the boards remains clean and bright with only minor surface scuffing. The binding feels a little shaken and there is a crack to both the front and rear joints, but the contents are holding firm.  The front free endpaper has been removed, the title page has a small tear to the bottom left side, and the contents are heavily age toned with some browning to the page edges and intermittent foxing. Despite the internal wear, this is a lovely book with a particularly attractive binding.
