This is an attractive edition of Andersen's Fairy Tales, bound in the original publisher's green pictorial cloth with silver coloured lettering to the front cover and spine. There is some rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine but the boards are clean and the colours vibrant. The contents are age toned with some light occasional foxing, mostly to the title page.. There is an ink inscription to the front free endpaper dated 1908.Frontispiece in colour which has yellowed a little and has a small tear to the outer edge - the tissue guard to the frontispiece has been removed leaving behind a slight residue of glue.
