This is a stunning, large format edition of Lorna Doone by R. D. Blackmore. Bound in the original publisher's vibrant blue cloth with gilt decoration to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition with some minor wear to the extremities and light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The contents are age toned with the odd occasional spot of foxing, but otherwise clean and bright throughout. Rough cut page edges. A particularly lovely example.
