This is a particularly attractive edition of The Poetical Works of Percy Shelley. Bound in the original publishers burgundy decorative cloth, featuring an elaborate design in gilt and black to the front cover and spine. The bevelled boards are in good condition, with some bumping to the corners, wear to the extremities and a small area of loss to the head of the spine. The contents are lightly age toned with an ink inscription to the half title page. There is a crack to the hinge but the contents are firmly bound.  Some browning to the preliminary and end pages - otherwise clean throughout. All edges gilt.
