Title: The Poems of Tennyson in three volumes.

Author: Alfred Lord Tennyson. Edited by Christopher Ricks.

Publisher: Longman.

These particular volumes hold some importance, for the following reason:

"The First Edition of Christopher Rick's The Poems of Tennyson appeared in 1969 to the acclaim of the academic and literary worlds alike. It immediately established itself as not only the standard edition of Tennyson's work, but also as one remains, the only edition to contains all of Tennyson's poems, whether published by him or not, including his contributions to Poems by Two Brothers, his youthful verse drama The Devil and the Lady, and the Songs from the Plays."

Bound in grey cloth with white lettering to the spine, all volumes are in very good condition with minimal signs of wear to the boards. The contents are also very good with little sign of wear. Complete with the original dust jackets which have yellowed to the spines and have a few grubby marks, but are otherwise complete and in good condition.
