Bound in the original publisher's blue/grey pictorial cloth with gilt lettering to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good overall condition. There is some fading/discolouration to the spine, some rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine, and a few surface marks, though nothing significant. Pictorial endpapers which have some minor browning but are otherwise clean. The contents are lightly age toned with some light intermittent foxing. Beautifully illustrated in both colour and black and white.
