This really is a beautiful example of Anne Anderson's Fairy Tale Book. Bound in the original publisher's blue cloth with a pictorial paste on to the front cover. The boards are in very good condition, with some like bumping and wear to the corners and the head and tail of the spine, and two superficial marks to the outer edge of the rear cover, as shown in the images provided. 
 
The contents are pristine, with clean endpapers that are free from inscriptions or browning, and with clean and bright pages throughout. It features twelve plates in colour plus numerous in text illustrations in black and white. 
 
Complete with the original, scarce dust-jacket, and although it is showing some significant wear, the cover images and lettering to the spine has been mostly preserved. There is some loss to the upper right corner and to the head and tail of the spine, and a significant tear to the rear cover. All damage has been 'repaired' from the inside with tape by a previous owner.
