This book features collection of children's stories including: The Tortoise-Shell Tom, Unshoe the Horse, The Runaway Road, and The Cobbler's Thread. 
 
Bound in blue cloth with pale green lettering to the front cover and gilt lettering to the spine. The boards are in very good condition, with minor wear to the extremities and very light surface marks. Clean endpapers, free from inscriptions. The contents are age toned with a few spots of foxing and the odd handling mark - otherwise very good. A few illustrations have been neatly coloured in by a previous owner and I have priced the book accordingly.
