This wonderful gardening book is bound in the original publisher's pictorial cloth and it is in very good condition. The boards have age related wear, including some rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and the head and tail of the spine, and there is some light surface marks/general soiling to the cloth. Firmly bound, the contents are also in very good condition. There is a signature to the front free endpaper. Featuring a beautiful frontispiece in colour complete with tissue guard which has a small spot of foxing. The preliminary pages are age toned with minor foxing, but beyond that the contents are clean and bright throughout. All edges gilt.
