This lovely vintage children's book is bound in black cloth with a pictorial paste on to the front cover. The boards are in very good condition - there is some light wear to the extremities and minor creasing to the upper front board. Ink inscription to the front pastedown dated 1947. The contents are lightly age toned with a few very minor spots of foxing, but nothing significant. The front free endpaper has been removed and the edge neatly stuck down - this can be seen on the image of the title page.  A very sweet book!
