This is a truly beautiful edition of The Old Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme Book, featuring Art Nouveau illustrations by Scottish children's book illustrator Anne Anderson. Bound in the original publisher's red pictorial cloth, this book is in very good condition indeed. The boards are vibrant and bright with only light wear to the extremities. The contents are lightly age toned with a few minor spots of foxing - otherwise clean and bright. Complete with the original unclipped dust jacket which is protected by a mylar cover. The jacket is almost very good condition - aesthetically it is beautiful and it has clearly been well looked after. It has some wear and closed tears to the edges and some loss to the head and tail of the spine, and also a closed tear to the spine. Please examine the images provided of the inside of the dust jacket, as this is always the best way to assess condition.
