This is a beautiful edition of Frances Hodgson Burnett's memoir of childhood. Bound in the original publisher's burgundy pictorial cloth, the book is in very good condition. The colours of the boards are vibrant and bright, and aside from a couple of small surface marks, it has only light wear to the extremities. The decorative endpapers are slightly age toned and the top right corner has been cut off from the front free endpaper. There is a bookseller's note in pencil to the half title page. The contents are light age toned but otherwise clean and bright throughout. An very good copy of this lovely book.
