The Oxford History of England in fourteen volumes.
The 'Oxford History of England' in fourteen volumes traces the history of Britain from Roman Britain and the English settlements up to the First World War, carefully traced with extensive studies and historical sketches from various eminent historians. Some of the volumes in the series are considered to be classics, some reissued as stand-alone works. Edited by Sir George Clark.
All volumes are in very good condition with only light wear to the extremities. Each volume has an ink inscription to the front free endpaper. Contents lightly age toned with the odd mark, but overall clean and bright throughout. The Age of Reform has more wear to the head and tail of the spine than the others.
