This lovely book is described as being 'A charming, whimsical story about the alignment of the North, South and West Winds in the face of the evil East Winds.' The author was born in Clonmel, Co., Tipperary in 1907, and attended school as a boarder at Sion Hill, Blackrock, County Dublin. [Museum of Childhood Ireland
 
Beige paper covered boards with a beige cloth spine and blue lettering to both the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good overall condition with some rubbing to the corners and general surface discolouration. The contents are lightly age toned with some light intermittent foxing throughout.There is small piece missing from the upper right corner of the front free endpaper. Beautiful illustrated in colour and black and white.
