This set is simply stunning. Bound in green cloth with gilt lettering to the spine - all volumes in very good condition. There are a few minor surface marks and there is some light wear to the extremities, but overall they are very good and have clearly been looked after. Each volume has a neat inscription to the upper front free endpaper. The contents are lightly age toned but otherwise clean and bright throughout. Each volume features illustrations in colour by Charles Edmund Brock [1870-1938], the English line artist​ and book illustrator who depicted the Regency period of Jane Austen's work so beautifully.
