Firmly bound in red cloth decorated and lettered in gilt to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition with some light surface wear and wear to the extremities. There is a crack to the front hinge and the book feels slightly shaken, but the text block is holding firm. Ink inscription to the front pastedown dated Christmas and New Year 1944/45. The contents are lightly age toned with a few intermittent spots of foxing - otherwise clean and bright throughout.
